FirstSeen helps users prepare a comment for a YouTube creator and automatically submit that user-written comment when FirstSeen detects a new upload from the selected creator.

This Privacy Policy explains what information FirstSeen collects, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

2. Information We Collect

When you use FirstSeen, we may collect or store:

• Your Google account email address and basic profile information.
• Information necessary to connect your authorized YouTube account.
• YouTube authorization credentials, including refresh tokens when required to maintain your connection.
• The YouTube creators or channel IDs you choose to watch.
• The comments you personally write and preload through FirstSeen.
• Records of comment delivery attempts, including whether a comment was successfully posted or failed.
• Suggestions, feedback, or other information you voluntarily submit through FirstSeen.

3. How We Use Information

We use information only as needed to operate FirstSeen, including to:

• Authenticate your account.
• Maintain your authorized YouTube connection.
• Monitor creators you specifically choose to watch.
• Submit the exact comment you previously wrote when a qualifying new upload is detected.
• Prevent duplicate comment submissions.
• Display your watchlist, comment status, and activity history.
• Maintain security and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Improve FirstSeen based on user feedback.

4. Google and YouTube Data

FirstSeen uses Google authentication and the YouTube Data API to provide its core functionality.

FirstSeen only performs actions that you authorize. Comments submitted through FirstSeen are written by you before they are posted. FirstSeen does not independently create comments on your behalf.

Your use of YouTube through FirstSeen is also subject to Google's and YouTube's applicable terms and privacy policies.

5. Sharing of Information

FirstSeen does not sell your personal information.

Information may be processed by service providers that are necessary to operate FirstSeen, such as hosting, database, authentication, and Google/YouTube services.

We may also disclose information when reasonably required to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse, or protect the security and integrity of FirstSeen.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate your account and provide FirstSeen's services.

Certain technical or delivery records may be retained for security, reliability, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting purposes.

7. Disconnecting Google or YouTube

You may stop using FirstSeen at any time. You may also revoke FirstSeen's access to your Google account through your Google Account permissions.

Revoking authorization may prevent FirstSeen from monitoring creators or posting your preloaded comments.

8. Deleting Your Data

You may request deletion of your FirstSeen account information, saved creators, preloaded comments, and stored authorization data.

9. Security

FirstSeen uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect account information and authorization credentials. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

FirstSeen is not intended to be a child-directed service. Users must satisfy any minimum age requirements that apply to their Google or YouTube account and their jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as FirstSeen changes. When material changes are made, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
